The Five Working Areas

Through five interconnected work areas, HAQAA3 addresses key challenges to strengthen harmonization and integration in higher education to meet Africa’s local, regional and continental development challenges
With a focus on policy dialogue and development, training and capacity building, and practical implementation, these areas enable institutions, national, and regional bodies to work together towards the setting of internationally recognised standards, harmonising systems, fostering mobility, recognition and cooperation, and contributing to sustainable development.

Capacity for quality assurance is strengthened within institutions (IQA) and at national and regional levels (EQA), enhancing self-assessment and accreditation processes. [Learn More →]
