As part of the “Supporting the PAQAA” work area, HAQAA3 co-organized a high-level working session in Accra on September 3-5, 2025. Leading the process alongside AAU and ENQA, the session convened the interim PAQAA Technical Unit to deepen its training on the coordination of agency reviews covering the analysis of self-assessment and external review reports, as well as the logistics of site visits.

The meeting also welcomed representatives from IUCEA and CAMES, both member institutionss of the HAQAA3 Steering Committee, who participated as observers in recognition of their ministerial mandates in quality assurance within their respective regions.

This session marks a pivotal advance in structuring the PAQAA, aligning governance mechanisms, and mobilizing stakeholder buy-in, ensuring that PAQAA evolves as a credible cornerstone for continental QA and regional integration.
